An electrical fault is believed to have sparked a fire that destroyed most of the roof of a family home on Saturday night.
Firefighters were called to Blenheim Drive at 8.27pm after the fire broke out at about 8.15pm.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said 75 per cent of the roof was destroyed and a middle-aged couple and their daughter escaped the blaze.
Oxford Station manager Paul Molloy said: “We believe it to be an electrical fire. We weren’t able to identify the root cause because of the damage caused to the roof.”
