A charming 16th-century pub has been named among the best country pubs with bedrooms in the UK.
The Bull at Charlbury undertook a complete restoration of the 16th-century inn under duo Phil Winser and James Gummer.
The pair, born and bred in the Cotswolds, are also behind the critically acclaimed The Pelican on All Saints Road in Notting Hill.

It was recently named in Estrella Damm's Top 50 Gastropubs list which compiled hundreds of votes from critics and writers, gastropub chefs and other food influencers.
The pub, standing on the corner of Sheep Street, has a 50-cover dining room and 10 en-suite bedrooms with views of the idyllic fields of Oxfordshire countryside.
Featuring the pub in a national list, Telegraph travel writer Tabitha Joyce said: "Dimly lit, largely by candles, it is deeply cool and moody.
“The bedrooms are hotel-standard – a highlight of which, room six, has a log burner in the bathroom and a romantic canopy bed.
“But the scene is all downstairs, choreographed by the same team as Notting Hill’s fan favourite The Pelican.”
The Bull at Charlbury said in a statement: “Our rooms are perfect for a single-night stay or a long weekend away and have everything you need for a relaxing countryside escape.
"Bedrooms feature freestanding baths, super king-sized beds and amenities by Wildsmith.
"Activities include clay-pigeon shooting, a friendly tennis match at the local court or if you’re in the mood to unwind, join us for some weekend yoga."
