The Oxford Mail has opened a book of condolence for the person who has died in an incident at a train line.
Trains were stopped at around 9.10am yesterday (Sunday, April 28) after emergency services were called to the line near Combe railway station following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
British Transport Police officers and paramedics attended however a person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Great Western Railway announced that all train lines between Oxford and Worcester Shrub Hill were blocked at 9.30am as the emergency services dealt with the incident near the railway causing some trains to be cancelled.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to the line near Combe railway station at around 9.09am yesterday (April 28) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
