Woodstock Harriers’ Brian O’Connor finished third in the Ponteland 10K during a visit to Northumberland.
O’Connor clocked 36mins 2secs to finish second in the vet 40 category.
Meanwhile, Eynsham Road Runners’ Ben Pollard came fifth in the Bushy Park 10K.
Pollard’s time of 38.31 also won him first vet 40 honours.
