Long Wave kept up Chipping Norton trainer Charlie Longs-don’s sparkling run of form with victory at Market Rasen on Saturday.
The seven-year-old battled home by three-quarters of a length from Spoil Me in a handicap chase over an extended two miles and six furlongs under Charlie Deutsch.
It made it seven winners from eight runners for Longsdon, who had also struck the previous day at Worcester with Orby’s Man, who landed a maiden hurdle over two and a half miles in good style with Noel Fehily on board.
