Witney Ladies went clear at the top of South Clubs Lea-gue Division 3A with a hard-earned 1-0 victory away to closest rivals PHC Chiswick on Saturday.
The visitors took the lead when a penalty corner was played in by captain Katie Gatt for striker Hayley Dob-son to deflect home.
In the second half, Witney withstood some severe Chis-wick pressure as they protected their slim lead, but they held on for victory.
Witney Men scored three times in the last eight minutes to pull off a remarkable 3-2 victory at West Hampstead 2nd in South League Regional 2.
Trailing 2-0, Witney appeared to be heading for defeat.
But out of nowhere, the visitors struck through Mike Godwin (2) and Andy Gosnell to snatch the points.
Witney 2nd lost 2-0 at home to Sonning 4th in MBB&O League Division 4, while Witney 3rd went down 2-0 to visitors Wycombe 4th in Division 5.
